I quit Facebook and instagram 5 years ago and I am not missing anything!
But LinkedIn is harder to quit. As much as itās terrible, full of spam, etc, itās a great place to reach out to former workplace proximity acquaintances.
Is there a Nostr LinkedIn? Asking for a friend.

You miss contacting people you donāt care about or know well enough to have their phone number so you can BS to them about things they faked on their resumes? š

In case I need a job one day. I found my last job through a connection I used to work with 11 years prior! But thatās a bad example because I didnāt reach out to her on LinkedIn because I had her contact info.
Those connections you speak of should be stronger than social media. IMO you would have their contact info and not need the application to assist you in that regard. I was in the same situation during Covid and got my job from my previous boss also 11-12 years prior. Just my two sats anyways!
