hey nostr. currently eating dinner and trying to wrap my head around this exchange I had with "Altcoin Daily"

if the truth makes people fearful, uncertain, and doubtful is that still FUD?

the fact that shitcoiners are like "nah yeah everything you said on TV is 100% correct, but by telling everyone the truth youre scaring people from buying our shitcoin" has really put my brain in a pretzel

the truth is FUD to them because they don't want people knowing. that said, i really do believe that many shitcoiners just do not care. they know that they're gambling and that's all that matters to them.

Gaslighting + Conspiracy combo. Bitcoin isn't some big secret. Get real.

Maybe they're taking a calculated risk? Or maybe they know something we don't? Maybe or maybe not. Must be measured in our opinions. Must acknowledge that we don't know everything. And that's fine. If one is Bitcoin only that's fine. If one holds other coins then that's fine too. I've lost way too many friends by labeling them Shitcoiner and calling them that.
