Hi nostr, we've been super busy today, trying to keep all the animals watered in these freezing temps. We barely got to 32F for a little while this afternoon, and now we're headed back down to 15F overnight. We should get a little reprieve tomorrow, but Friday nite down in the twenties. This just aint right.

But I know I need to be thankful that we are staying warm, we have plenty to eat, and that our power has stayed on. And we did get some beautiful sunshine today, which made me feel happy.

The chickens have been laying eggs in spite of the cold, and I've been using lots of eggs for meals. I'm a little worried about a bobcat that we saw on one of the game cams. It wasnt too close to the chickens, but you never know.
