I spent more doing that than using propane. 🤷‍♂️

Barely any noise with quiet fans. Running it at 750-900W

Yeah man that's my point!

It's not providing you an economic benefit & you have no 3.25btc upside!

I'm doing it to learn and earn some non-kyc sats.

Commendable & awesome 😎 💗

i'm being conservative and aiming to pay my hosting fees by routing lightning payments but i suspect that i will be able to make nokyc sats running a lightning routing node too, i'm just staying conservative and not aiming too high to start, i'm new to this but i am almost certain that you can make back your routing costs on lighting node running

What's your expected Sat accrual over the next 12-24months?

just to be above zero is fine thanks

Nokyc sats don't matter if you can't buy anything!

Routing is still commendable but to actually accrue a good stack you have to go to greater lengths.

By greater I also mean easier.

BTC ATM.

Robosats.

P2P w cash.

i have a fairly deep understanding of the protocol and if i have routeable inbound this means i can share a key and people can initiate payments to me without my interaction, and their payments are anonymous

so, i'm interested if only for the sake of getting a better practical understanding of how to do fully anonymous lightning poyments

doing it without a lot of capital is not practical, and i can think of no better thing to apply my surplus capital to right now, but learning how to do this thing right, so i can also share this knowledge and help more people establish their lightning citadels

that's the thing... if you understood the protocol right, you would understand that it's litreally better than monero+tor

that's why i was building a tor-like network transport built on the principles of lightning in 2023

I agree with your sentiment!

Hopefully one day you'll also be playing the Bitcoin lottery by helping to decentralize hashpower & promote open source mining!

It does to me. Almost all my stack is kyc-ed to death. Having some without KYC I'd a win.

I think you read my reply incorrectly, I was saying you're doing something good because you'll earn enough to at least spend eventually if you needed it.

Any chance you can answer the OP as well? 😁🫣

Btw Bitaxe takes 15watts 💗

I need motte heat than that. 🤣🤣🤣

Ofc I'm just saying it's a nominal addition to play the lottery :)
