Not really.

For certain purposes it would be a very cheap and effective way of storing data on an immutable database thats gonna last forever.

It’s self limiting isn’t it. The only reason it feels cheap is that the blocks are empty. The cost could quadruple tomorrow. The Bitcoin you spend today on storage of a retarded JPEGs could by a house in 10 years
