I just had a vague memory surface.
Does anyone remember back in the 1980's they sold that powder that you would sprinkle on cut fruit and it would keep it from turning brown?
Is that still a thing? I can't imagine that there is still a market for something like that. Also I'm assuming that they found out that it caused eye cancer or something.
It's probably the same shit they spray on meat to keep it looking bright red instead of grey.
