I'd say Israelis have decent amounts of food. Quatari and Sauds too. Iranians are worse because of US sanctions but not starving either. That doesn't seem to help.
Your right the Israelis do produce a lot of food, but how are they doing it? If they are using nitrogen salts they are using up 4 times as much water as they need to while Jordan right next door is one of the most water scarce countries on earth.
The whole area is a degraded landscape people when they were building Petra people didn't eat sand while building such a beautiful place 😉
