I've been having endless issues with primal desktop, amethyst is good on my phone but borked on tablet. After the last updates it's got me connected to 1000+ relays, and I'm not about to fix that.
Yeah I think I remember Vitor explaining that you automatically connect to the relays that other peoples notes are posted to or some shit like that (that's probably not what's happening at all and I've just made that up in my mind, but whatever).
I've encountered some issues with my feed since the new update, particularly with hashtags of mine being unfollowable, and a complete inability to filter the waves of insufferable dross coming out of that mostr bridge.
It's really strange, I very rarely see anything from mostr on my TL
You've got too many inbox & outbox relays. The max needed is 3, you've got a dozen. The new versions connect to more relays due to outbox being implemented.

There's a huge disparity between amethyst on my tab (900+) and on my phone (19 relays).

Amethyst won't add any automatically. It's possible another Nostr app could have though. They are saved as a Nostr event and shared between apps.
Is the phone updated to the latest version? If it's on the old version that would explain the disparity.
