This person that promoted my post has numerous red flags, the npub was just seen by relays, meaning they aren't a lurker, and they're using the pics and videos of a popular 16 year old TikTok and Instagram user.

I'm not saying be wary of every single new person with a Lightning address. That would be horrible. We should all use caution and not immediately pounce! 🫂

What’s more believable:

“I just signed up for Nostr 5 minutes ago, I’ve got an Alby address and I’m ready to get zapped!”

or

“I’m new here, but confused. How do I connect my MetaMask so I can get tipped in crypto?”
