I’d like to think this is an exclusive club that requires intelligence and individualism to join.
Since I have muted way more than I care to remember, I would say no. We want quality, not spam bots doing airdrops or whatnot.
Brilliant! I just sent heynostr to a Ukrainian friend who is already into ₿, last night. A young man, with a young family, with dual citizenship.
I think this sort of already happens, sorta, no? Well some people seem to do that. Unfortunately it is mostly people who have a resch within the b!tcoin twitter community lol, and I'm not sure we need any more of that lolol.
I do think a possible path of growth would be slow but steady with content creators (I'm avoiding 'influencers' here lol cos I mean more cultural and political commentary, creative stuff etc) make a nostr and promote it as a 'follow me on nostr in case I get banned here'. In the same way YouTube content creators promote their Bitchute and rumbles, and optionally offer their spicier takes there. That's one potentially likely way I see nostr growing and reaching an active community, ie users which aren't just saying BTC slogans for z4ps.
I think that takes time. It also takes a bit of awareness of nostr in general outside to BT sphere.
