Why is strike trying to charge me nearly 50k sats as a mining fee?

Change to low time priority (should be free) if you're not in a rush. Immediate next block transactions are hard to price and are expensive. I have always just used the free option.

You're misinterpreting this convo. For next block confirm they charge -1000sats ~1%. Batch transaction is free. .001 would be the amount sent. FREEDOM UNITS FTW
Batch transactions are always the cheapest (that's how they offer them for free). Should be an industry standard.
See, this is yet another reason why I don't like Strike. There's no justification for charging this much. If you were opening your own channel it wouldn't cost more than 10k sats. And you don't get your own channel with Strike. So WTF are they charging all this money for? The privilege of using their custodial wallet. Fuck that. Use Minibits. It's free, and it offers more features.
