I may be a loner in thinking this but imo Zuckerberg’s bet on VR/AR might actually be the right one.
The thought of spending time and having conversations in a Meta controlled VR creeps me the fuck out.

You already do it now. Not meta controlled but you’re in a virtual world every day.
Yeah not the virtual part of it. What really creeps me out is the future of surveilled walled gardens created by meta. I really hope meta doesn't get to control the whole VR space.
