Bought ghee for the first time at the supermarket today and started checking ingredient lists for seed oils, emulsifiers & soy. #seedoildisrespector

Ghee is pretty much just butter🤷🏻‍♂️.

Clarified butter with a much higher and therefore safer smoke point.

I've been checking food for about a year now. After a while you just get to know what to buy and what not to buy. I find Tesco is pretty bad. And Aldi.

Mostly you can't buy it but I have noticed that if you pay more you get better ingredients. Which makes sense.

Hello fellow UK Pleb🫡.

Was interested to learn that granary loaves like Hovis that stay soft have seed oils + emulsifiers in. Only found one supermarket sourdough that didn't - Jason's.

The challenge of finding a quick bite to eat in an ‘express’ supermarket becomes almost impossible. Bites have become less quick and near given up on supermarket. Gales bread is ‘clean’ and Chandos Deli. 👍

Ghee should not have any of that junk in it 🏆

Clarified butter. I make it using organic butter. Easy and pure.
