A footnote in history for someone who changed the religion of an empire like the Roman Empire... allow me to laugh at your comparison.

Jesus is undoubtedly one of the best humans we have ever had, or perhaps the best. Whether you believe it or not is your business, not mine.

I don’t disagree with much of the above. I encourage you to continue to read the New Testament to learn more about the immense nature/historical significance of this Man. Agree to disagree on the Godly part for now, but that is the ultimate question of all of our lives.

Mark 14:61-62

“Again the high priest asked Him, ‘Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?’ And Jesus said, ‘I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.’”

What if the Blessed are the Jews or the house of David?

What if the "Son of Man" is a way of Jesus saying that he is the next step in our evolution? Coming from mankind yet something new. Like the first chicken must have come from something that was only close to being a hen.
