Also i recommend using a different version of Dosbox like DAUM or Staging so that you can use shader filters. I use a CRT shader filter since it makes the game much much easier on the eyes compared to the raw bright pixels you get by default.
Ultima IV is always a bit of a nightmare, you need to write notes for every bit of text you find so that you can type it in to ask NPCs about it. Really cool idea for a game but I'm not patient enough to wander around collecting clues and typing the clues to every random NPC I find.
