I mean this seriously. Is it really worth running arch?

#[0] i normally run arch on everything

only recently when i was using a shit pc for work that i installed mx a fork of debian because of how tiny it was

new laptop runs arch with latest gnome without issue, im sure its not actually anyones fault with it but it was simply missing the tools it needed to build

gonna try to build it again

It's great until your start relying on it and then it breaks (it will break) and you just don't want to deal with it.

If all you do is tinker endlessly and don't have anything that you actually need to get done reliably, then it's great until it's not, in which case you get to tinker so it's still great.

But I don't tend to use it.

Artix is ironically more stable (slacking on running sudo pacman -Syu or yay aside) than mainline Arch, most likely due to its lack of crapd dependencies.
