Been playing badminton twice a week to try and get a bit fitter and was told by a friend to try squash if I wanted something a bit more intense.

Holy shit! I was sweating buckets after just 20 minutes.

Squash is hard, physically and mentally but you feel so pumped afterwards when you hit the perfect shot. Constantly got to be moving and thinking where the ball will go.

With badminton at least you have a bit of hang time between shots to get yourself right.

Definitely something I’m going to try more often!

Nice! I only played badminton for fun. Never squash. That shit is fast! :)

Don't forget to do some strength training too. A little legwork goes a long way to stay injury free. Even so playing sports is nice, its less controled & riskier than Training.

Routine for strength? I have a bit of a one but I don’t go to the gym, I have some weights and use a resistance band at home to get a bit of a strength workout in.

Yeah, thats what I meant. :) As long as you dont skip leg day ;)
