so, after years of feeling sorry for these situations, all the big bullies sucking them dry...I do have 1 question:
why in hell can a people who have for sons and daughters the bright minds of people like Saifedean not take the simple step of following their advice and just doing simple thing like buying Bitcoin.
do they not trust their own intelligent sons and daughters? do those sons and daughters not care enough to try to rescue their people?
how much of the blame goes to the bully and how much goes to the victim. I know I'm "victim shaming " here, but tell me how horrible I am.
Some people wake up and southern countries hopefully wake up sooner, but paradigm shifts are hard to read for everyone.
Yeah, it would be cool if the disruptive part of the technology could be leveraged to make the world a fairer place.
I'm overestimating how brave I would be in their place. I'm pretending to be willing to stand up to a whole country when it's hard enough just to tell a friend that I disagree :-)
