i had all the shutters closed, i'm in madeira, and they have shutters like portugal but they make even more sense because of how intense winds get here in the atlantic

what alerted me was noticing that it didn't seem like the sunset had happened but it was well past it, the glow coming through the vents in the shutters was higher than i expected, then i opened the door and was greeted by the beautific sight of luna above the mountain to the east, against a dim dark blue clear sky

i can ride a motorcycle in the dark with tree cover all around safely on a full moon at a decent click
