#fiatmining project I finished up a couple months ago. Modernized 2 elevators in an 11 story building. This was my first “big” job on my own as a journeyman mechanic. This job taught me a lot and I’m proud of how it turned out. This trade has been life changing for me and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make money working with their hands. Reposting this hoping more people see it this time.

I think bitcoiners would be good for the elevator industry and the elevator industry would be good for bitcoiners.

You have to know several trades, it’s pretty technical, and it’s dangerous work so it pays very well for blue collar work.

I think tech savvy bitcoiners would have an advantage in the trade. Most elevator mechanics are knuckle draggers like me that struggle with the tech side of the job.

You don’t need prior trade experience to get in, but of course it helps. It’s a 4 year apprenticeship, you learn the trade while working with a journeyman mechanic and go to school one night a week.
