I tried using my audiobook shelf instance as a podcast app for 2 reasons. 1) I thought it would be sick to have both my audiobooks and podcasts on one app, and 2) to be able to have my podcasts in sync on all devices. But AntennaPod is just too good, I can't let it go, despite its lack of syncing across devices.

How did you get it to work on your phone? I feel like I've tried everything.

Any tutorials you recommend? I'd zap you all my SATs if your advice leads to it working.

I don't know how you're serving your instance of audiobook shelf, but If you're using nginx you need to Upgrade the connection to websockets.

Yeah. I have it on docker on my synology but the infrastructure to get it from my synology to my phone doesn't work. I've tried tailscale, ddns, nginx with an external website... It just doesn't connect.

Whatever your set up is, I'd be grateful for any pointers.

Used to be a dev but no time to fiddle now with kids.
