Nostr is great because it's not just a Twitter clone. It's much more than social. Sure, right now most use cases fall under Twitter clones and social networking apps, but I assure you these are not the most exciting use cases. The big picture here revolves around what's being developed now and what will be developed in the future.

I can't take another twitter app.

And I don't want you to do that! 🫂 Amethyst is great!

agree

what do you think some of the bigger use cases are going to be?

Marketplaces will be very popular, IMO. Built into current clients and ones that are completely separate.

🎯

Can’t wait to see the #nostr GitHub alt! 🤯

Working on it but we need more active contributors.

Thank you for sharing the repo! I had no idea it existed. I’ll think about how I could contribute. 🤙🏻

I could see other social media clones in the future. Fb Instagram what's app ect. ??

I’m more excited to see a Nostr Signal clone developed. Also, a decentralized marketplace.

DMs definitely need a lot of work.

💯

🤙

Would be so cool to chat signal-like using nostr but without leaking any metadata.

Try SimpleX chat

Strengthening the use of nostr for the masses of users to communicate safely, freely and easily would be the main use of the protocol. The other projects he complements for multiple needs.

#Nostr safety comes from diversity:

Diversity of relays: the more relays we have & the more diverse they’re, the fewer attackers are in a position to do traffic confirmation.

Diversity of users & reasons to use it… More users from over the world means almost all of them are normal participants..

Whether it is a single user from an African country means that he has opted for something ultra-liberal & sophisticated.

Potential users of ‘Tor’ have no doubt about this plan. #Nostr, is a tenacious approach of Tor..

Any good pods or articles that talk about the potential? Still learning

The Nostrovia podcast by #[4] is great!

It’s a much better community than Twitter fs

The twitter like experience is a Trojan horse. This is a publishing behemoth! Ever single day the dev community makes my head spin…
