Its been almost a month since I quit smoking. I am feeling really good about it today. I believe it's going to stick this time. The biggest change I am noticing, I find more joy in the little things.

If you are a daily cannibis user, are you honest with yourself about its effects on your daily life?

I know I wasn't for a long time.

Same 👍

Everyone talks about it impacting REM sleep. Have you had this experience? Are you sleeping better?

Much better. When I was smoking, I felt like often slept 12 hours and was still tired. I am feeling much more energized after 6-8 of sleep than I did then. Big adjustment though. I struggled to sleep well after first quitting. And dreams are off the charts now.

Nice was just curious. Not a smoker but always wondered if that was just a rumor.

Congratulations on your journey! Keep going!

Same. I don’t label it quit but I go much longer periods without it and it feels great. It affects people differently and I had a hard time getting up. Nice work man! Positive change leads to positive outcomes.

I love cannabis. It's my own shit that keeps me from connecting with it responsibly. One day we will chat again I am sure. I have work to do first.

Nice man. I hear you!!! 🤙🫂

Congrats ! You should be proud !

Congrats. Sounds like a positive change in your life.

Definitely. It's huge. Way more than just the habit itself. There was a lot of crap I was hiding from that I have been forced to face.

I'm also finally over the worst part. Last week really sucked.

I also don't think I will smoke again anytime soon.

never smoked in my life.

discovered the joys of weed last year on holiday. I ate a few brownies that I didn't know what was in them. Luckily my friend stopped me as soon as he noticed 😆

I was spaced out all day but didn't feel bad after.

I'm a big fan of beer but noticed the negative effects on my body and brain. Now I'm basically swapping one drug for the other.

positive effects in noticed with micro dosing:

- keeps my stress levels down and I feel more productive

- I don't argue as much about things I can't change anyway

- calm but not tired

- my sleep improved (according to my smart watch)

- haven't had a hangover

negative effects:

- eyes are dry

- probably not eating enough (lost weight that I didn't want to lose), although I eat better food and less crap

- I use a vaporiser and that shit is expensive (don't want to smoke)

Another big difference to alcohol is that with larger doses I get less talkative. So socialising is harder...

Microdosing with cannabis? I could see a lot of great benefits to that. I have struggled to maintain the discipline for this when I tried before.

that's when my otg vaporiser comes in handy. It comes with tiny capsules. They hold about 0,1 -0,15 grams of weed. Also the battery only lasts for 5 or 6 capsules. You either stretch it over the day or get one big buzz.
