Trademarks make SOME sense in terms of, if I put the hitachi logo on something not made py hitachi, it is fraud. Patents and copyright are bleh.
You’re right but that’s not IP. It’s just fraud.
It isn’t about “stealing an idea” but just pretending you’re someone you’re not.
Funnily this is now much better to resolve by technology than by politics too.
