Maybe there is just chaos (or we are too human to understand the chaos) and then it’s a matter of perspective. „The average opinion“ is probably considered as normal.
personally i think normal is a individuals acceptance of the world Bad or good.

Normal in the abstract cannot exist.
A paradox.
Normal contraction material could be defined geographically however.
You touch the point Franny, what is normal to me, might not be for someone else....And what we perceive as normal, has already a social construct also, behind.
So, this is a thing I've told my kids since they were small, there is no such thing as "normal" because my normal and your normal and the guy down the street's normal are all different. There can only be an average and I hope you strive to be anything but average.
Heterosexual homogeneous communities of 150 or fewer people eating unprocessed meat, dairy, fruits, and vegetables.
Every part of our modern world that deviates from that is artificial, and is only tolerated because of brainwashing.
I'd say that is natural, not necessarily normal.

Normal is living your grandest life, on the edge of any reality you can push yourself hardest, towards.
Then continuing that tradition with your children. Hoping they too embrace chaos and order in equal parts and can let the calamity of life wash over them as quickly as the profound moments of fleeting ecstasy!

Normal isn't a measurable thing. It is what we expect. We expect people to think, speak, and act in a particular way. Abnormal is when a person acts differently than we expect or things work out differently than we expect. Because normal isn't a definite thing or an absolute truth, it depends on the expectations of each person and what is considered normal depends on who is defining it.
Normal is boring and unenlightening. I prefer abnormal.
