Maybe there is just chaos (or we are too human to understand the chaos) and then it’s a matter of perspective. „The average opinion“ is probably considered as normal.

Normal contraction material could be defined geographically however.
You touch the point Franny, what is normal to me, might not be for someone else....And what we perceive as normal, has already a social construct also, behind.
There is no normal--
Normal is defined by others, and if you feel compelled to be judged by others, then you are subject to that normal.
BUT if you don't care about what others think of you, then that normal doesn't matter -- it doesn't exist -- and it has not power over you.
