Gardening question.
See how my tomato plant leaves are starting to curl?
Is this from too much light? I’ve left my grow lights on overnight a couple of times lately.

Sometimes I find that with watering issues as well.
Yeah I think it's drying out. Like not enough moisture/ too much drying effect
Feel the dirt. To much water can cause wilting, or under watering as well. I doubt it's to much light, unless it's to much heat.
I check twice a day. I’ve got chicks in the same room.
I don’t think it’s soil moisture.
Too much or too little water can cause this issue for sure, but I don’t think that’s the case here.
I do need to move to larger pots. But I’m not sure this is root crowding yet either.
Yeah, root crowding can do this. Basically if it's not turgor pressure(water) it's lack of air to the roots.
Mine did that when the leaves got too close to the lights. Raising the lights helped them not curl so much.
I like how the responses include:
- too wet
- too dry
- root bound
- too much heat
- not enough airflow
- too close to the lights
- not enough nutrients in the soil
- stuffy temperature
So... basically it could be nearly anything. 🙄 If you figure it out, please post back so the rest of us can learn something. 🙏
