So they Japanese talk about the price of bitcoin a lot? Bitcoin slogans? Etc?
I reckon it's a lot less than our side of nostr

This is why we should bridge the gap. Browse Japanese nostr and reach out every so often about Bitcoin if it's related to the discussion.
are you trying to drive them off of nostr???
Lmao nooooo, as long as you're not annoying about it they'll be fine.
I do not endorse this and I won't take any responsibility when we find out they've all left :):):)
But doing that likely is annoying.
Anyone on Nostr probably already know Bitcoin. They don't need to hear "Have you heard about Bitcoin?". They have.
They should start posting about sushi every in Bitcoin communities every time they can find some nonsensical way to relate it to the conversation.
"Ah, you're talking about stuff. Have you heard about sushi? Sushi is stuff!!".
I would love this myself lol
The point is to reach out to people who are amenable to Bitcoin, mostly those who already have expressed interest. I'm not **that** retarded.
I said we could do it if it's relevant to the discussion, and I did not say we should just do it wherever and whenever a possible link could be made. It's a strange reading of my suggestion to interpret it as advocacy for actions that will end up necessarily being annoying or excessive.
Have you ever bridged a gap in conversation before after teasing out whether they are amenable to discussing the topic? I do this all the time in conversations, at least in real life. Online it can be a bit tricky so you have to look for more obvious signs such as an expressed interest in bitcoin or something adjacent, for example.
I just like the idea of having more Japanese in my feed too. I'm gonna follow more of 'em.
i think a lot are on relays you need a Jpanese IP to post on, not sure how that works with replies, perhaps they'll never see the replies
eh
there are specific relays they use, it won't let you post to them unless you are based in japan, they filter us out lol :)
i'm not 100% sure how this all works, just what i heard.
can they see replies? do we show up if they follow us? i assume yes to both, but not sure
