If you had the option, would you voluntarily commit to always having a certain percent of any zaps received sent directly to the developer of the client you’re using?

volunteering a percentage of received zaps to client developers would be great and in alignment with the free open source force that is nostr.

i would also be keen to pay a subscription or first adopters lifetime fee for pro client featues. that seems like a solid path forward.

I don't like subscriptions tbo.

Developers will launch unnecessary pro features just to get the cash. Or will orphan regular users of nice features.

Most people are poor as fuck in this world. They should have nice stuff too especially when it comes at freedom software.
