If you had the option, would you voluntarily commit to always having a certain percent of any zaps received sent directly to the developer of the client you’re using?

I know I would. 🫡⚡️

Definitely.

Absolutely 👍

i prefer donating their adventures in nudity

Yep. Also should be optional (default being yes) and the % should also be adjustable.

Yeap 🤌 as long as that would help #[2] continue to develop without the need for outside, VC money💰

I have been paying a set amount daily to the developer of the client my choice. After some time I will interact with that developer and find out if daily payments work best or a once per month payment is more preferred.

Same for the relay operator somehow.

Sounds like a good value for value model to me. Like someone else said, optional and adjustable would be nice.

I love that idea

volunteering a percentage of received zaps to client developers would be great and in alignment with the free open source force that is nostr.

i would also be keen to pay a subscription or first adopters lifetime fee for pro client featues. that seems like a solid path forward.

what do you think? 🤙🏻⚡💜

I don't like subscriptions tbo.

Developers will launch unnecessary pro features just to get the cash. Or will orphan regular users of nice features.

Most people are poor as fuck in this world. They should have nice stuff too especially when it comes at freedom software.

Yeah that seems like a pretty nifty feature especially if users have control over the percentage

If it would be optin would you agree to have ads on your feed if you would get 20% of the revenue in #Bitcoin the advertiser pays zapped into your wallet?

Would it be hard to implement?

Would it be hard to differentiate between real users and bot views/clicks?

💯 as long as the client was open and transparent.

I love the idea! I would, definitely! 🤙🤙🤙

Add long as it is added on top of the selected zap amounts. We need to be sure the intended recipient still receives their vanity zaps (21, 69, 420 etc)

Good point, Bill.😁

I would prefer this to a subscription model.

Opt-in, voluntary, adjustable, and a percentage or fixed # of sats added to the Zap ⚡ amount that goes out.😁

Yes I would.

What if you're using the same LN address on multiple clients? How would they know which client you're most actively using?
