Portion control is a super power. I innately have portion control. My mom who was overweight used to comment on the small amount of food on my plate, insinuating that I had an eating disorder, 🙄 but it was portion control. I always know exactly how much food I’ll need to feel full. If I eat at a restaurant I always eat half the plate and eat the leftovers the next day. Implementing portion control is imperative for long term weight loss. Make a fist, that’s relatively how big your stomach is and that’s the amount of chewed up food that’s supposed to fit. Getting real is also a great way to lose weight. Many people emotionally eat. Get real to heal the emotional wounds and you’ll find yourself surrendering to the emotional pulls to eat.
