Actually disappointing after A1 and A2. I attribute the success to their directors Ridley Scott and James Cameron. A3,4 and many more after that really sucks (especially the Predator mixtures) With Prometheus (Ridley Scott I guess) series improved again. Alien Romulus is really good if you haven’t seen it.
I remember once you commented as such about Alien 3, but we are halfway through and enjoying it so far. There are some holes in its storytelling, but I believe A2 had more of them. I’ll probably discuss it more after finishing this sequel :)
