The Panopticon was 24 years in the making.
I'm here to opt-out of it to the best of my ability.

It's getting harder and harder to opt out. There are cameras practically everywhere.
People are freaking out at the obvious government owned cams, but think about all the vehicles on the street equipped with cams and internet connection. Each Tesla has at least 8 cameras mounted linked up to satellites. How many cameras do you think is on you right now?

I'm at my mother in laws, so I know of at least two.
There's basically a corporate/government partnership to spy on Citizens and rebuild bombed countries that started in 2001. I wasn't aware of the Panopticon until Snowden revealed it in 2013 or 2014, but you are 💯% correct. The corporations and US government( and others) have a partnership to spy on everyone in the world.
This is just a fact, not a political statement. I'm not saying "this administration" or "that administration." It doesn't matter who you vote for. The Panopticon continues.
Not to mention the one on your phone looking deep into your soul right now ðŸ˜
Right.
You know, the most lethal and ingenious aspect of the panopticon is that it doesn’t have to take any action; it simply compels the people to police themselves.
Whenever the people feel threatened by something, they pull out their phones and start filming, as if to assert that the panopticon will protect them.
But what it really means is we are summoning the invisible police with the camera.
The largest roadblock to freedom is the fear of the lowest common denominator and his willingness to give away personal responsibility
I know. I think about this a lot.
