So If I understand correct, when using the "node in the phone" with Olympus, zapping from Zeus is quite easy providing you have the wallet open in the background, however receiving zaps is not so straight forward as the SATs aren't received until you open the app and connect the "node in the phone" to the lightning network and this must be done within 24h of the SATs being sent... Have I understood correct?

This is basically also my understanding. What's worth mentioning is that the ...@zeuspay.com LN-address is self-custodial, that's why you have to collect payments to you within 24hrs otherwise they will be returned to sender. This is a big difference to custodial wallets (like WoS, Coinos, Primal, ...) where you need to relay on somebody else to collect and hold your funds.
