You could also point him to the recent Bitcoin Audible read of The Great Taking, and ask if he thinks he really owns any stocks, bonds, or securities at all. Does he think he owns the dollars in his bank account?

If he likes steak you could ask what if they decide your steak consumption is too large of a carbon footprint & want to limit your purchases, the Palantir surveillance system makes this possible. Find anything he likes that might not be popular under a different admin, Palantir can punish that.
