So with higher USD prices, the nostr:npub1cashappn03s3cl2ljsdntv0v28e2um5lgx4vjctqjt23pcwzjhsqmtdg5l restrictive BTC transfer limits make smaller and smaller UTXOs. nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m can you comment and/or step in? Do you actually have my Bitcoin?

What are the send limits in Cash App?

$2k USD per day / $5k USD per week. What's worse is their total unresponsiveness on this issue. So if you had stacked .25 BTC, it takes 5 weeks.

I can see how that could be a problem for some users. I use Cash App for smaller, regular purchases that are immediately transferred out to my cold storage. I'm never making transactions large enough to come up against those limits. I'd say it's not a good idea to use Cash App to store your bitcoin.

Yep, agree. But taking it out in any way shouldn't be this problematic. Once people stop trusting you, it's game over.

Yep. I've experienced similar issues with them. I also just got off a call with my Dad who got scammed out of $500 on there. He thought he was buying bitcoin.

I've had a good experience on River and Luno.

Ok, update. He didn't lose the BTC or get scammed. I had to spend some time trying to understand what happened and what he did. Turns out my Dad just didn't understand how to get to BTC holdings section within the app to see where his coins are. Then he misinterpreted the +/- differential and how to read the #s in the BTC section. I don't blame him bc the UX/UI in cashapp is kind of confusing esp for 80 year olds. All good though. Phew.
