Beautiful Tangi Valley of Wardak province. Beautiful valley was one of the most dangerous places for US & its Allies once, it was here where the the CH-47D Chinook helicopter of the US Military was downed in 2011with an RPG, killing all those onboard(38), including 17 US Navy Seals, 2 USAF Pararescue, 1 USAF CCT, a pilot & two crewmen of US Army Reserve, a pilot & crewman of US National Guard, Seven Afghan Soldiers & an Afghan interpreter. The people of this valley lost hundreds of men, women, children & elderly people to the 20 years of US Occupation. This valley, however, now is one of the most peaceful places on earth with a charming beauty lying between two mountains with a river flowing in the middle of the valley.
