twitter is still pretty good and nostr is still pretty clunky.

the difference is nostr keeps getting better and twitter keeps getting worse.

the people on twitter talk about how much it sucks, the people on nostr talk about how to improve it.

Twitter still offers a much better UX. I force myself to open Damus once a day but only out of idealism 🤷‍♀️

the beauty of nostr is that you aren’t locked into damus.

you could even build a client just for yourself, tailored to your needs

You’re comparing a ~10 year old company to a ~four month old startup lol. Of course Twitter offers a better UX, it literally has billions of dollars and full-fledged teams globally.

Try using Damus on TestFlight, Will is constantly shipping updates. It’s my favorite client on Nostr.

I'm comparing results, not efforts. As a user, I couldn't care less how much work went into the product. I care how good it is.

I use Damus.

I'm glad Nostr exists. I hope it gets better because now it's just not good enough to displace the incumbents and they need displacing.

Maybe because I work in start up I have a little more compassion for builders 😅😅😅

Also, Nostr will never replace Twitter and that’s ok.
