One thing I do miss from the bird app is quoting messages and adding thoughts.

The NIP-18 was about reposting (kind 6) but has been archived, even if still widly used.
NIP-10 explain how to manage mentions.
I agree it's an interesting and quite important topic, I don't know why is discussed so little.
