But... Miners can decide what pool they mine with. So WTF is your point here? Or is there not one and you just want to virtue signal to Bitcoiners?

Judge actions not words. Ocean is the most transparent and free (as in speech) mining pool.

If I mine with the Core template I pay 2% fees, provide a higher block reward if I find a block, and if a Knots miner finds a block I get the lower censored reward for my shares. Mining core via Ocean is doubly disincentivized, and they don't even mention the second part at all. I would've used them if the core pool was seperate as it should be, but they're still dishonest and ideology-/ego-driven, so GFY nostr:npub1qtvl2em0llpnnllffhat8zltugwwz97x79gfmxfz4qk52n6zpk3qq87dze nostr:npub1lh273a4wpkup00stw8dzqjvvrqrfdrv2v3v4t8pynuezlfe5vjnsnaa9nk

Of course ignoring the actual question, as usual.

Good point, except for the ad hominem attack. That part is not helpful.

There's a lot of nuance, in this whole conversation. I think Bitcoin Mechanic did a great job explaining Ocean's position, in his conversation with Preston Push.
