Do you bring olive oil for them to cook in? I've been joking about bringing butter for restaurants to cook my food in.
When I did the 5 months carnivore, I pretty much didn't eat out. It's too hard to avoid traps out there.

I bring olive oil to use as salad dressing if I’m getting a salad, but I will specifically ask for something to be cooked in butter; breakfast food especially.
Good to know.
Sometimes they say they can't tho.
Yeah, then I’ll ask about bacon grease.
If they can’t do that either, I just tap out and drink coffee or tea with whoever I am with.
Yea I need to be ready to just fast for the time being.
And interestingly, not surprisingly, I can sustain much longer without food on carnivore.
Now blood sugar fluctuates and hunger would come on quickly and have me at my knees fast. 👎
Yes, that’s one of the main benefits of the diet. Much more even energy levels and no need to eat for extended periods of time. I personally don’t recommend people fast if they aren’t in ketosis yet. Just very difficult to pull off. It also leads to a lot of people giving up.
