I think the main risk of authoritarianism in Trump is in considering the result of 8 years of demonization of him as well as the false litigations.

I hope that he will be able to overcome the totalitarianism of the political left and not stoop down to their bottomless pit.

He needs a strong libertarian VP that forces him to focus on liberty for all, justice, property rights and individual liberties. With the right VP, who is willing to critique Trump when he is in the wrong, I thjnk we can avoid worst case scenarios.
