Alright, I'll check this out.

What I'm hoping to see eventually is a splinter network of genres develop, but what will really get that happening is when mid-tier and higher visibility artists make the switch and bring their fanbases.

But for sure the underground and little names will have to develop in the more generalist show types first.

The future is ⚑ LIT⚑ thanks to BTC and Podcasting 2.0 developments! It is an exciting time to be a part of all this as musicians figure out boostable concerts which can be viewed and receive sats/value forever thanks to the power of their RSS feed.

So many musicians have already decided to self-host since Able and the Wolf published the first decentralized music (DeMu) album written for RSS in 2021, paving the way for artists to emancipate themselves from platforms and middlemen. This organic growth is encouraging knowing musicians are waking up and deciding to act as sovereign individuals.

And what's craziest is we have never *had* to repeat a song on Homegrown Hits because there are always new self-hosted tracks each week!
