I'm following to see what your solutions for privacy are for this vehicle. I assume you had practical purposes for purchasing but, the telematics are pretty baked in by law for these later model vehicles. I can't speak to Toyota specifically. I've had friends have their telemeatics modules (literally the name of the module in some Stelantis owned vehicles) fail (or removed) and cause a no-start condition.

I also haven't been part of the automotive reverse engineering world for a couple of years so I'm not sure how much has changed.
