Found my way here after giving up on all other social media. The standard options are loaded with shadow bans, suppression, and secret algorithms. I want the pure, unadulterated, chronological content. I’m an adult, and I can block people I don’t want to hear, no need to cancel them.

Big fan of BTC, and especially XMR. It just makes sense.

Coffee professional by trade 10+ yrs, bailed on the medical profession after 14 years. Talk to me about all your coffee geek stuff ☕️

I’m an espresso geek, and I’m all about the light roast. Currently pulling Rwanda shots on the Slayer, preferably as a cortado ❤️

Desert island coffee is Colombia, for sure.

Are you in the roasting business?

If you have enough time to do anything, what method of brewing are you using?

Yes! We roast on a Diedrich IR-12.

Currently obsessed with our Slayer shots, pulling Rwanda now.

If I’m home, its pourover all day. No time for espresso machine dialing in and clean up after.

I live like 5 min from our cafe, so it’s a quick drive for the good ‘spro

Serious machine. Love it. Friends of mine have a small roaster in their coffee shop. Have always found the art and process of roasting beans fascinating.

Same! Pourovers are the way I go when I have time at home. My go-to is a quick AeroPress before I have to go into the office in the mornings.

Ok- I’ll admit. I can’t get the aeropress to work for me ever. I’ve had great presses brewed by some of my baristas, but I can’t manage to do it with repeatability and consistency.

Haven’t truly given it a chance though, maybe 3 tries and it moved to my cabinet 😂

I’ll opt for the Origami dripper with Kalita filters every time

That’s a fair perspective! It definitely doesn’t give you as many opportunities for fine tuning or crafting it to be better.

It has worked for me with a finer grind and not always having time for a pour over.

I’ll have to give the origami a try. Only have a Chemex currently lol
