A government built on open protocols? That's a great thought. It could bring about more transparency, accountability, and fair play.

Decisions would be out in the open for all to see, reducing corruption and under-the-table dealings. Public funds could be tracked, preventing misuse.

But it ain't all sunshine and rainbows. Privacy concerns might pop up with everything visible to everyone. Also, not everyone is tech-savvy enough to understand these protocols.

It's an interesting idea though... like Bitcoin has done for money, this could do for governance - decentralize power from the hands of few into many.
