The way memes replicate is interesting. Whether it’s a “disease” or otherwise, it has a property that contributes to replicating itself. The judgment on whether it’s good or bad has zero bearing, at least it doesn’t appear to. Look at a virus. Or humans in general.

Yeah. But I feel like there's something purposeful going on. To me its malevolent.... Subjective, but still
I enjoy David Deutsch’s take on “replicators” in his book “the beginning of infinity”. Truth has this property, it lacks any fucks given to what people think. Like a honey badger. Like bitcoin.
You're making me look stuff up. Grr. Thanks. Grr.
😆 who cares what you look like
? Look like?
Anyways, I'm thinking of getting this book. He's on the other side, in the metaphysical debate - good to know what they're saying, how crazy their justifications are, etc. Might even persuade me... Anything's possible...
selfish, yes, malevolent, no
ideas have to also mesh with the organism they are being used in as well, they can be very poorly fitted
such as pride and intelligent animals like us... at some point there has to be an expulsion of this fawning, worshiping bullshit
