I think a number of things play in there.
1. Shot one at home, shot two at the gym post workout
2. This is the most I've ever eaten on a regular basis and the first time I've ever gained weight at this speed
3. The detailed blood test and subsequent sit down with a practitioner to figure out what I'm deficient in has likely made a HUGE difference in my ability to metabolize all the food I'm taking in properly
4. This is the highest frequency of weight lifting I've ever done, at 6 times a week.
5. My natural state is skinny, when I put on muscle it really shows, and there likely a bit of a muscle memory thing here given that I've trained in the past relatively consistently.
I wouldn't be discouraged, I would perhaps look into testing for what you're lacking and fill in those gaps.
While you have no doubt optimized to the starts and beyond, I still have been at it for 2 years 😅 And of course, genetics, at which I suck.
What do you reckon your macros are at, and where do you get your carbs from? This pictures convinced me to introduce at least fruit in my diet.
These are my macros currently.
Right now while I'm trying to gain I'm not averse to getting carbs from wherever I can as long as I'm not consuming a ton of refined sugars. I find it hard eating enough so topping up with a liquid diet a bit helps. The most important thing (and at first the hardest for me) is getting the protein requirements. I try to eat a lot of steak and eggs but I honestly couldn't hit my numbers if that was all I ate.
Fruit, veggies, nuts, even the occasional peanut butter sandwich, basmati rice, potatoes, etc.
When I go to cut it will be primarily animal based tho.

Thank you! Those are a lot of carbs alright, and in 2 months your fat is negligible if that's what you eat, I developed a pot belly just by drinking 1L of milk everyday on top of normal carnivore, but at least I was progressing with weights, and after having dropped milk altogether my performances also fell hard.
10 raw beaten eggs in the morning do go down a lot easier than 10 scrambled eggs, I will give you that.
Well time for me to experiment with carbs at least in lifting days, thanks again!
