I find drinking water between alcoholic drinks is a good strategy in general.
If I'm drinking from bottles I will sometimes rinse and refill each bottle with some water. I can blend in with the hardcore drinkers that way.

Yeah, i drink water only when something strong is in the play but not with a beer 😂
