I don’t get the obsession with owning a home when it comes at the expense of buying Bitcoin or investing. It’s nice having the stability of knowing you will be in a place for a long time, but choosing to store your wealth in a house feels alien to me. So many broke normies can’t wait to buy a house, and I just can’t relate at all.

That’s not to mention property taxes which can be obscene in some states.

Bitcoin really exposes home ownership being a poor financial decision, especially now that renting is a lot cheaper.

There are others reasons to own a home, but from a wealth building perspective is a fat L with current interest rates.
